Contract: Definite - Full time

Experience:

  • min. 6 years experience after secondary school
  • min. 2 years IT experience
  • min. 2 years experience in programming
  • min. 2 years experience in modelling tools

Languages: French and English (Mastering written and spoken communication) - other languages are asset

 

  1. 1.   Nature of the tasks

 

The Analyst-Programmer works under the guidance of Senior Lead Analyst-Programmer

and Information System Architect to deliver high-quality products (software and services).

 

  1. 2.   Responsibilities

 

* Analyse requirements;

* Create prototypes and proofs of concepts validating feasibility;

* Write and maintain applications that reflect the provided specifications;

* Elaborate unit tests; test programs; produce technical documentation;

* Design and integrate technological components; make applications interoperable;

* Build and test releases on multiple operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Apple

Mac OSX, Linux);

* Assist with deployment, configuration of applications, and the training of users;

* Write end user documentation in French and/or German and/or English;

* Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by other teams to ensure

that they conform to the customer requirements and methodology;

 

  1. 3.   Knowledge and skills

 

* Good knowledge of application development; good knowledge of the design and

development of applications either based on Web technologies

or using Java (and related technologies;

* Good knowledge of relational database systems;

* Knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML);

* Ability to cope with fast changing technologies;

* Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication;

* Capability to integrate in an international / multi-cultural context, rapid self-starting

capability and experience in team working.

 

  1. 4.   Education and experience

 

* Minimum 6 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school;

* Minimum 2 years of IT professional experience;

* Minimum 2 years of programming experience with either PHP / JS or using Java;

* Optional : Minimum 2 years in modelling tools (e.g. UML), RDBMS (e.g. Oracle),

or development tools / environments / languages (e.g. Java, J2EE, PL/SQL)
