- 1. Description of the profile
The Information System Architect works closely with the SDSC (Software Development
and Support Coordinator) and the Development Team to deliver high-quality products.
- 2. Responsibilities
* Analysis of existing information systems (IS), their costs and benefits;
* Analysis of organizational structures, business / work processes (work flows), and
data flows;
* Participate in the development and drive the enhancement of architectures;
* Design and development of user interfaces;
* Definition and creation of graphical layout and contents;
* User ergonomics design and compliance with User eXperience (UX) standards.
- 3. Knowledge and skills
* In-depth knowledge of Web-distributed system architectures;
* Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies;
* Ability to take part in multilingual meetings (English-French), good communicator;
* Capability of working in an international / multicultural environment;
* Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in graphical design;
* Knowledge of ergonomics regarding human / machine interfacing;
* Knowledge of design and graphical tools;
* Knowledge of Web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML, XML);
* Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
* Total mastery of CSS (CSS 2/3), technical expertise in CSS compilers (SASS and
LESS), template languages (e.g. HandleBar, Mustache, eJS), and Web Design
principles, rules, and frameworks (e.g. BootStrap, Grid960) are mandatory;
* Sound development skills (in JS / nodeJS) are required.
- 4. Education and Experience
* Minimum 12 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school;
* Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience;
* Strong experience in consulting;
* Strong experience in enterprise architecture models and tool;
* Proven experience with quality procedures;
* Strong experience in the realization of studies.
