  1. 1.   Description of the profile


The Software Development and Support Coordinator (SDSC) operates within product

development steering, technical team management, internal and external support service

coordination, and IT infrastructure supervision. SDSC works closely with the Information

System Architect, the Quality and Release Manager, and with the Projects Managers to

ensure high product quality and optimal work conditions.


  1. 2.   Responsibilities


* Lead coordinator of development and deployment strategies in strong cooperation

with the Information System Architect, the Quality and Release Manager, and with

Projects Managers;

* Adjust planning and priorities of human resources according the project’s agenda;

* Update and adjust the global consolidated planning of all resources (human and

material, internal or external) with regards to the on-going and future projects and

various activities like development, training, events organization, support, travel,

vacation, etc.

* Identify potential issues (related to occupational plan, work load, implementation

conflict, interpersonal relations…), sort them out at the level of the development

team if possible, report them and debate them with the management of the customer, as

needed, take the necessary decisions, and endorse the related responsibilities;

* Maintain the relationship (on technical- and organizational-related matters)

between the customer and its

partners and stakeholders; hence English proficiency is mandatory;

* Support partners in identifying infrastructure and the resources requirements;

* Help partners in troubleshooting their deployment of the provided platform;

therefore, a good understanding of '*nix' and Windows operating systems is needed;

* Monitor the development progress and help the development, support, and

operation teams to tackle organizational and technical issues;

* With Quality Manager and Information System Architect, to enforce the coherence

of the produced code;

* With Project Managers, under the guidance of the Project Leader, establish the

work processes driving internal and external developments (and other technical


* Be force of proposition for pragmatic implementation of architectural decisions;

* Supervise the technical support of development forge infrastructure;

* Manage internal and outsourced infrastructure resources, and offshore production.


  1. 3.   Qualifications


* Five to ten years of team management experience in the IT sector;

* Strong competencies and motivation for software analysis, requirements

interpretation, architecture, design, development, test, and documentation;

* Solid Programing skills (C, PHP, JavaScript, etc.);

* Strong understanding of s/w development practices and methodologies (e.g. Agile);

* Must be self-motivated, resourceful, detailed-oriented, organized and have high

degree of energy/drive. Must be able to maintain flexibility in a fast paced, ever-changing,

deadline driven environment, while handling many tasks simultaneously;

* Ability to think outside the box;

* Good communication, presentation, listening and follow-up skills;

* Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
